Our team at Krueger Electric consists of Estimators, Project Managers, Safety officer’s, Journeymen, apprentices, warehouse and administration staff. These professionals are the heart of our company and have allowed us to build our organization rooted with family values.

Peter Sherba

President / Owner

As the President and Owner of Krueger Electric, Peter is the driving force behind our growth as an industry leader in the electrical sector. Peter works closely with company’s project managers and foremen to find opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.

Bringing over 30 years of electrical expertise and completion of over 100 large scale commercial, industrial, and custom projects through Western Canada. Over the course of his career Peter has founded several successful companies within the electrical field.

Through his commitment to excellence and a dedication to professionalism, Peter Sherba and Krueger Electric have continued to exceed industry standards by forming strong professional partnerships based on integrity, ingenuity and reliability.

Brad Smith

Pre-Construction Manager

Brad has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry with several industrial, commercial and multi-family projects. He began his career as an electrician and evolved into positions including Project Foreman, Project Manager and Electrical Estimator for several firms in Alberta and British Columbia. Working in both Union and Open Shop environments, Brad has a vast understanding of construction projects.
In his role as Pre-Construction Manager at Krueger Electric, Brad is responsible for preparing estimates of labour, material and equipment for electrical projects based on drawings and engineers specifications. He has advised on tender procedures, examining tenders, recommend tender awards, and conducting negotiations. Additionally, Brad has coordinated price packages with suppliers regarding tenders.

John Zaichkowsky

Senior Project Manager

John has over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, including 20 years as owner and operator of Alberta Master Electrician. With a strong background in light industrial, commercial, multi-family and residential, John brings years of experience and knowledge to his role.
In his role as Senior Project Manager, John has worked on a number of projects including water treatment plants, waste water, hospitals, care facilities and high rises.

Sandy Kaebe

Project Manager

Sandy has over 20 years of experience in the industry focused on industrial electrical business development and administration. Her skills include quality management, project management, and operating in supervisor and management roles.
In her role of Project Manager, Sandy is very comfortable developing, negotiating, and implementing administrative contracts. Her favourite projects are challenging ones that warrant a variety of solutions to achieve success.

Ethan Sherba

Project Manager

Ethan is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering building development projects or varying size and complexity. Ethan is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities.

Ethan’s responsibilities include but are not limited to assistance to all Project Managers, Safety Officers and Field Team members. Ethan works closely with the management team with planning, safety, and scheduling. Both in office and out on-site Ethan is a valued member of Krueger Electric’s Team.

Mat Leighton

Estimator

Mat is a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician. He has been with Krueger Electric since September 2019 and in his current role since February 2020. With over 12 years of experience in the electrical trade, Mat comes to us with superior experience, including work with solar PV both off-grid and grid-connected, plus high voltage training up to 25kV. He has helped complete a variety of projects including wineries, commercial warehouses and off-grid homes. Additionally, Mat has worked on water treatment plants, Petro-Chemical facilities, pulp and paper plants, substations, and aggregate plants.

In his role at Krueger Electric, Mat has especially enjoyed working on highway projects as they’ve been a new experience for him. He’s also enjoyed the green energy work he’s been tasked with since it really resonates with him. Mat continues to enjoy working alongside his co-workers and has especially appreciated the welcoming work environment at Krueger Electric.
